Instructions

1: Make onion first so that they have time to cool to room temp. To make, add butter to a large skillet over medium heat.

2: Add onions, salt, and pepper, and reduce heat to medium-low.

3: Allow to cook for 35 minutes, stirring every 5 or so minutes.

4: Remove from heat and allow to cool completely before making the rest of the dip.

5: In a large bowl, mix the remaining ingredients together with the caramelized onions.

6: Chill in fridge until ready to serve.

7: Add to your serving dish, top with fresh chives, and serve with chips/veggies.
